Blackmagic Desktop Video is a free and quite powerful collection of applications, plug-ins and drivers designed to provide you with extended support for the DeckLink, Intensity and UltraStudio applications.

UltraStudio models also include Blackmagic LiveKey and Blackmagic Disk Speed Test. LiveKey lets you insert logos and other graphics in real time using SDI outputs. Disk Speed Test checks your disk array and gives you an easy to. Blackmagic Design Desktop Video is the driver that is required in order for Livestream Producer and Livestream Studio software to recognize video inputs coming in through a Blackmagic Design capture device. If you are having an issue seeing your camera source, it could be an issue with the current version of the drivers you have installed.

The utilities included in Desktop Video can be used directly within various video software from Apple, Avid, or Adobe, or, if needed, you can use them by themselves, as standalone tools.

Blackmagic Design Desktop Video also installs a system preferences item that provide a central configuration location for setting parameters for all video applications at once.
